Bricks, bricks and more bricks!

Mitch Potter is busy making bricks for the kiln he is getting ready to build. Not only does he mix the straw, mud and water by foot, but he is speding long days (5:30 a.m. until late at night) firing them to just the right temperature to withstand the heat when he starts firing the pots and tile for our roofs. Did you know that although we won’t need roof tile until our 12th year, Mitch ille begin making roof tile next year to have enough? Wow – that’s patience!
